Our Focus
Sowing In The Highest-return Investment In Healthcare
Imagine life as a race but...
not every child begins at the same starting line.

For millions, the difference is already decided in the first 1,000 days — before they even have a chance to run.
Poor maternal and child health outcomes during the first 1,000 days such as malnutrition,
low birth weight, and delayed development can entrench cycles of poor health and
poverty across generations.
Through Autrui Global’s First 1,000 Days Project, we provide quality maternal and
child care to help children thrive and reach their full potential.
Our Theory of Change
Optimal Maternal Health and Nutrition in Pregnancy
Optimal Nutrition and Immunisation for Child Growth
Supportive Care and Early Learning for Childhood Development
Stronger Child Health
Improved Learning Outcomes, Better Career Prospects
Higher Earnings,
Breaking the Cycle of Poverty
Program Pillars
Antenatal Care
We journey with mothers from their first pregnancy check up through postpartum and breastfeeding. This includes providing services such as ultrasound scans, nutrition education, preventive care, breastfeeding education, and lactation therapy.
Child Care
From the womb until the child's second birthday, we monitor their growth and development, provide routine vaccinations, teach proper feeding techniques and complimentary feeding, and treat illnesses.
Mental Health Support
Throughout the first 1,000 days of life we offer mental health support during pregnancy and postpartum for mothers and fathers as they adjust to a new life, including responsive caregiving classes and individual counselling sessions.
Family Planning
We champion the health of the entire family by educating couples on the importance of family planning and the options available for them at the clinic. We believe informed decisions give them the power to plan for a better future.
Financial Literarcy
We empower families by teaching them to plan their finances from the start. We provide follow up sessions on their progress to provide extra support as they learn to save and look for opportunities to grow their income.
The First 1,000 Days
The First 1,000 Days is a period of development which begins from the time of conception until a child reaches 2 years of age. This period provides a crucial window of opportunity for promotion of optimal health, growth, and neurodevelopment.
Adequate healthcare, good nutrition, early learning and stimulation, and a clean safe environment play an important role for the future of a child. These formative years establish a strong foundation for a child’s physical, mental, and social health.
